The overwhelming box-office success of the action-adventure flick “The Forbidden Kingdom” has prompted its producers to shoot a sequel.

Sources from the film’s Chinese investor and distributor, Huayi Brothers, said Tuesday they will once again collaborate with Hollywood for part two of the Jackie Chan - Jet Li film, the Beijing Times reported.

The two action heroes will appear in the follow-up film, together with actress Li Bing Bing, who made her major Hollywood debut with “Forbidden Kingdom.”

The first half of the year is hardly over.

Yet Sarah Geronimo has earned a harvest of achievements not just for herself, but for the country as well.

The Popstar Princess, fresh from a highly-successful concert tours in the US and Canada, stayed behind in Los Angeles to do the vocals for a duet with Backstreet Boy Howie Dorough.

The duet, titled “I’ll Be There” and produced by Christian de Walden, will be part of Sarah’s latest CD to be released in July her birth month.

Sarah Geronimo recently swept the MYX Music Awards, where she won four trophies, the most by any nominee this year: Favorite Song for “Ikaw,” Favorite Artist, Favorite Female Artist and Favorite MYX Celebrity VJ.

In last night’s episode, Jang Ki Joon gets really furious after viewing the actual tape, crushing the wine glass in his hands with blood flowing from his wounds.

Ki Joon immediately seeks out Seung Ah for an answer. But he can’t bring himself to ask her about it and instead just hugs her.

This becomes the first intimate scene between Seung Ah and Ki Joon in the drama.

Philippines ABS-CBN has the franchise for the Mexican soap “Betty La Fea” and television director, Wenn Deramas has confirmed that actress Bea Alonzo will play the lead role for the Philippine version.

The said adaptation has no confirmed official title yet but it is about an intelligent but plain girl working in the glamorous world of fashion.

American television has it’s own version of this soap which is entitled Ugly Betty.

Deramas will be directing this series and another series entitled “Dyosa” played by Anne Curtis, all to be shown in ABS-CBN in the latter part of 2008.

Ada Choi was recently diagnosed with a systemic disease called “ankylosing spondylitis” which is a type of painful inflammatory arthritis that affects the spine.

This type of disease in worst cases can make someone severely disabled.

When Ada first received the news she cried for two days.

Thankfully her friends encouraged her and researched more information about it. Afterwards she felt alot better.

Earlier she went to see the doctor for an checkup because she had chronic pain in the lower part of her spine and asthma for 4 months.
