Celebrate Merdeka at Genting Highlands
City of Entertainment’s Ambang Merdeka Celebration offers an exciting line-up of activities on Aug 30. Singers Dayang Nurfaizah, Gary Cao Ge and Sasi The Don will be belting out their hits at the Arena of Stars starting from 8pm. There will also be free entry to the Genting Outdoor Theme Park after 6pm on the eve of Merdeka.
The cast of Genting’s renowned residence show, Fly – Defy Gravity, will be performing to keep you at the edge of your seat. Finalists of the 2007 Astro Talent Quest will be on hand to entertain as well. The concert tickets are free but must be redeemed at Genting WorldCard Centre and e-Genting Kiosk on a first come, first served basis.
Get into the Merdeka mood at the Genting car porch area from 11pm to midnight. The Hands Percussion team, the Cultural Troupe and Brass Bands will be performing.
