Muhaizam Ahmad and Anis Salwa Alaluddin have been crowned as the winner of Juara Bintang Klasik Nasional 2007 for male and female category during the finals of Bintang Klasik Nasional 2007 at Putra World Trade Center yesterday night. Muhaizam, 23, and Anis, 20, which sung the song ‘Mengharap Sinar Menelan Kabus’ and latter sung ‘Teratai’ has able to bring home RM10,000, a trophie and a certificate.

The victory will allow them to represent Malaysia in the finals of Bintang Klasik Nusantara 2007, that includes representatives from Brunei Darussalam, Singapore and Indonesia on September 7th. The prizes was given by Menteri Penerangan, Datuk Seri Zainuddin Maidin. First runner-ups are Rahayudean Rahmat, 24, and Dayangku Nurul Fattihah Ummi Qalthum Pengiran Zainal Abidin, 26, which bring back RM5,000, a tropie and certificate.

The second runner-ups, Mohamad Hasnul Hassan, 27, and Nurliza Usup, 29, would need to be satisfied to bring back RM3,000, a tropie and certificates. Other six finalist, Muhaimin Azzahan, 20, Fazrul Misran, 21, Mohd. Zaidi Zen, 30, Fify Emelia Shazlin Murshaidi, 18, Eliana Marfika Mokhtarudin, 18, and Nadia Adha Mohd. Abid, 18, also receive RM1,000, a certificate and a tropie each.

This competition was judge by juries, and no SMS voters are accepted. Making sure that this competition wouldn’t be a popularity contest like other reality programs such as Akademi Fantasia, MyStarz LG, Malaysian Idol, Ikon Malaysia etc.
