John Abraham knows it only too well, having shot “Aashayein” while both his parents were ill and in hospital.

Recalling the harrowing period John told IANS: “Illnesses in the family do scare you a lot.

I really believe I’m a family person. My parents are the most important people to me. Their health is very important to me.”

But sorrow was used for creative satisfaction. “Aashayein” will release on June 20.

“Looking with or without regret is honestly not my space. I’d much rather look ahead. I believe there’s a third axis beyond contentment and regret, and that’s my axis.

With five films, nine endorsements and three stage shows, Kareena Kapoor says she is overworked and exhausted.

“I’ve five films in various stages of production. Then I’ve nine endorsements for which I’ve to shoot ads round the year.

Plus I’ve all these stage shows that require rehearsals. I can’t seem to find the time to do anything properly,” Kareena Kapoor told IANS on phone from Melbourne.

She’s shooting for Salman Khan’s “Main Aur Mrs Khanna” in Melbourne.

She has, in fact, agreed to perform at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards on June 8 in Bangkok and is rehearsing for it.

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Monday denied media reports that she is in the family way.

“I am not pregnant,” Aishwarya Rai, looking as glamorous as ever in a formal black suit, told reporters at a press conference at the PVR Ambience shopping mall here, on the outskirts of Delhi.

Aishwarya Rai, along with her husband Abhishek Bachchan and father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan, was here to launch the Idea Sarkar Raj Yatra.

She also dismissed reports that the couple had bought a bungalow in Dubai to hide her pregnancy from the media.

“Let me set the record straight. Every three weeks I hear that I have broken up with Usman, but that is not true at all.

I am still dating him. And we are very happy together,” clarifies Amrita.

So how does she maintain the spark in the long distance relationship?

“It is not easy to maintain a long distance relationship, but if you know your commitment level and trust each other, then it is not that difficult.

You just have to set your priorities right,” she says.
