Spitz is coming out with their first new single in over a year. Named “Wakaba,” the song will be used as the theme for Nakahara Shun’s film remake, “Sakura no Sono.”The band’s last movie tie-in was about two years ago, when “Mahou no Kotoba” was used in “Honey and Clover.”
More details about the film were announced in May.

According to Winnie Kok, she is currently busy going back an forth between Malaysia and Indonesia for the publicity of her new album.

If you don’t already know, Arirang TV’s popular music program Pops in Seoul is heading to Manila, the Philippines in celebration of its 1,000th episode.
In our earlier reports, we stated that Min Kyung Hoon of rock band Buzz will be the guest singer at the event. That’s not the case anymore.
The update we received announces that Evan a.k.a Yoo Ho Suk, who is formerly of Click B, will be replacing Min Kyung Hoon.
Both VJ Isak and Evan will appear at the Manila Film Center at 3pm on July 5. Admission is FREE.

The first round of tickets for the Seo Tae Ji comeback show, entitled “Eerie Taiji People Festival 2008,” went up for sale at 8 p.m. on June 24th at the CJ Tickets website (http://ticket.cjmall.com).
The festivities on the eve of “ETP FEST 2008″ will be held on August 14th at the plaza in front of the Jamsil Baseball Field in Seoul, while the actual concert will be held inside stadium on the 15th.
Seo Tae Ji will be performing live from his eighth album, an album he has been working on for the past four years.
The Seo Tae Ji Company has expanded this concert into an international event, inviting the rock musician Marilyn Manson, Japanese rock band Dragon Ash, and Japanese underground rock group Monkey Magic.

Since his entry into the Hollywood movie market, singer and actor Rain has been a busy man.
He has finally announced that he will be returning to the music business this September.
Rain held an official event with his Japanese fan club, “The Cloud,” on June 30th at the Tokyo Dome JCB Hall.
He announced at the event that he would return as the “singing Rain” with an album for Asian fans “possibly as soon as September.”
At the fan meeting, Rain performed his hit songs, “I Do,” “How to Avoid the Sun” and “Instead of Saying Good-bye.”

Big Bang member Daesung has been cast in the musical “Cats.”
Big Bang’s management agency YG Entertainment recently announced that Dae Sung was recently cast in Cats as the sexy rebel cat “Rum Tum Tugger.”
Since its debut in 1981, Cats has been staged in 30 countries around the world and has been loved by musical fans the world over with its fun and interesting characters as well as its dazzling choreography and catchy tunes.
In the musical, Rum Tum Tugger is a naughty male feline who is nevertheless adored by all the cats.

Twins when it was revealed that
Gillian Chung had departed for Hollywood.
Charlene Choi appeared at an event yesterday at the Shatin Horsetrack with Jackie Chan, Joey Yung, Nicholas Tse, Yumiko Cheng, Raymond Lam among others, and responded to the rumors.
Once again, Charlene Choi strongly denied the disbanding rumors and firmly stated that Twins will collaborate again in the future, “From the second day that Twins was established, there have already been rumors of us splitting, I am already used to them.”

Singer Ayaka and duo
Kobukuro are teaming up once again for a second collaborative single. The song, called “Anata to,” will be released sometime this fall.Ayaka and Kobukuro first worked together on the song “WINDING ROAD,” which was originally only performed in concert.
Due to demand from fans, it was finally released as a single in February 2007 as part of Nissan’s promotional record label Cube Loves Music.
