Firing 21 House Maid Is A Normal Thing - Jacky Cheung

Hong Kong 28 Sept - Popular singer, Jacky Cheung, 46, says that his action of firing 21 Philippines house maids in three years is a normal thing to do and is usually done by any other employer.

The singer who is stopped from taking any more Philippines house maids for a year says, he already forgot how many house maids that he has fired throughout the years, said in South China Morning Post.

“I consider myself as a normal employer because there’s a lot of my friends doing the same thing,”

“An employer can fire their workers if the worker fail to do their best and vice versa, worker too can ask for resignation if they’re not happy with their employers,” says Jacky Cheung who is in East China for his tour.

He also came out with a question whether it is a problem if he fires a worker that didn’t even help?

Currently Jacky Cheung has been black listed from Philippines consulate. He has to find house maids from other countries from now on.
