Hoshino Aki (ほしのあき)(星野亜希) was born on March 14th 1977, She is a Japanese Gravure Idol, Celebrity and Actress.

Hoshino Aki was born in Setagaya, Tokyo, Japan, and her last school is Tachi Tamagawa High School Tokyo. Her affiliates are A-team & A-Plus.

When she was still in high school, she appeard in a teens magazine called Puchi Seven (Primary School Magazine) . From that day onwards, she became a model to many more magazines.

Hoshino Aki then registered to work, and be a deejay for about 3 years. She also appears in several dramas as well. She also starring in a television commercial for P&G Clear Seal.

Starting from 2001, she started to work as a gravure idol. She even wrestle her way up in several wrestling show, where she fought with real wrestlers while wearing a cosplay.

Hoshino Aki even joined a pay per view site as a gravure, and catches a lot of attention while doing so. From middle of 2004, her popularity increases and starting to be in several television and variety shows.

In 2006, She starred in a drama Toritsu Suisei in Nihon TV, starting from that point, she started to use her real name (星野亜希) in every show.

She even starred in TBS TV ‘All stars Appreciation Festival 2006′ and ‘Kangoshi no Kuzu’. In the same year, she went to Yokohama Stadium to support Yokohama baseball team, Yokohama Baystars.

Hoshino Aki even host the FIFA World Cup 2006’s public viewing, and follows all Japanese Football team up till the end.

Starting from April 2nd 2007, she stars in a popular mid day television program in Fuji TV called ‘Waratte Iitomo’, and became the program Monday regular.

Currently Hoshino Aki is focusing her working as a gravure idol, Magazine Idol, appears in Variety shows on TV.
