Zayed Khan, who is regarded as the style icon of the industry, will be plying a serious journalist in Apoorva Lakhia’s Mission Istanbul.

The actor will be seen in trendy dapper suits throughout the film.

When asked about his look in the film, Zayed Khan says, “The Khan family loves to be trendy and we love wearing flashy and loud stuff. This makes us trendy.

But in this film I am playing a smart television anchor, who gets the offer to head a channel.

The movie deals with global terrorism. I come across people who don’t come out with real facades in life.

I observed a lot of journalists and decided to give my role a little glamorous touch. You will see me in dapper suits and glasses and this gives me a serious yet cool look.”

The film will have a lot of action scenes with Vivek Oberoi and Suniel Shetty. “I can’t reveal much about the film as it is too early.

But yes there are interesting stunts to watch out for. There is a lot of action and it’s done by people who have done films like Gangs of New York and worked with Leornardo Di Caprio.

Then there’s Subhash Ghai’s Yuvraaj where I play the youngest and most spoilt brother.

I am excited about this film because when I came on the sets I told Subhash sir, ‘You made me love and miss acting all over again’,” says the Shabd actor.
