World No 1 squash player, Nicol Ann David, has been chosen to represent Malaysia to win Asian Sports Prize which will be given from ASPU.

The list of nomination was announced yesterday and Malaysia got 3 nominations, South Korea 4, China 3 and Pakistan and Thailand 1 each.

Nicol Ann David consistent performance has led her to be chosen as Malaysia best representative. She had won world champion 2 times (2005, 2006).

Malaysian male bowling team was selected to win the group selection while women’s lawn ball was chosen to represent Malaysia in team selection for the prize.
