Singer and actress Erra Fazira, 33, has announced that she has engaged with Operation Manager of Suria FM, Engku Emran Engku Zainal Abidin, 32.

The ceremony had begun at 4 o’clock in the evening at her place in Damansara, Petaling Jaya.

In the ceremony, Erra Fazira wore an off white modern malay traditional created by Jovian and will receive 5 plates of gifts and will return 7 plates to Engku Emran.

According to Erra Fazira, or her real name Fazira Wan Chek, they’re expecting to tie their marriage knot in 3 months after the engagement.

“We’ve been planning to engaged for a short time, however, if it comes earlier than that, we will accept it as it is the work of god,” she told the media.

However, during the press conference that is joined by Engku Emran, Erra Fazira didn’t disclose the amount of dowry that she will receive.

When asked what is the quality that she sees in Engku Emran, the former Miss Malaysia 1992 says, Emran is a cool guy, smart and a family man, he can lead the way so that Erra could be a good wife.

When asked about Erra Fazira to Engku Emran, he told that he is very very excited that his dreams to wed Erra Fazira is just around the corner.

“I didn’t chose Erra Fazira for her name or personality, but I chose her because of her timid and wise qualities.”

“Other than that, we also have a similar hobby such as riding high powered motorcycle an we love outdoor activities,” said Engku Emran Engku Zainal Abidin.

This lovely couple has started their relationship since last May when Suria FM did a concert in Sabah.
