Puteri Shahanaz Divorced
Couple, Datuk Roslan Hashim and Puteri Shahanaz Hazlin Hamdan which has tied the knot last year with a dowry of RM444,444.44, has been declared divorced last 29th November in Kuantan Syariah Court.
The divorce statement has been admitted true by Datuk Roslan Hashim, 50, who is a class A contractor, and owner of Merak Melaka Beach Resort.
Puteri Shahanza, 25, ex-part-time model and Pahang state heritage dancer has filed the divorce application with her lawyer on 4th October 2007.
Before the divorce statement being said, the judge give permission for both of them to shake hands, however Puteri Shahanaz refuses to do so.
Datuk Roslan Hashim agreed to divorce Puteri Shahanaz with a mutaah pay of RM100,000 with a idah RM5,000 per month.
Both of them tied the knot 8 September 2006 with mas kahwin of 22.50 with an addition dowry of RM22,222.22. Aside from dowry, there were gifts valued RM444,444.44
It is known that the groom has given 23 plates of gifts with a BMW 320i, which costed around RM250,000, RM150,000 of jewellery, RM20,000 of diamond ring and a Rolex watch costed RM25,000.
Whole wedding was estimated to cost around RM3.5 million.
