Jay Chou to Promote Kung Fu Dunk
In conjunction with the release of the highly anticipated Chinese New Year 2008 movie Kung Fu Dunk, a promotional tour will be held throughout Asia.
Malaysian stop scheduled on Feb 2. This tour is jointly organised by RAM and PMP Entertainment.
Main star Jay Chou will be present, with a possible appearance by co-star Charlene Choi as well.
Amongst the events to be held during the stop, which will include a carnival, are the Kung Fu Dunk Funkees Fest, the Kung Fu Dunk Alpha Gala Premiere and the Kung Fu Dunk Anglia Shandy CNY Party.
The movie will hit Malaysian cinemas on Feb 7.
The plot of this action comedy revolves around Shi-Jie (Chou), who manages to master both martial arts skills and basketball techniques while growing up in a martial arts school.
However, his talents are exploited by the nefarious Wang-Li (Eric Tsang), who recruits Shi-Jie for his basketball team, using the pretext of helping him find his real family.
