Our film industry always welcome newcomers from time to time. Latest newcomer in the industry is a lovely girl that trying her luck in acting. If we speak about Lisa Suriani Mohamed, 21, maybe a lot of readers out there don’t have any idea who she is. However, if you see her face, many should have recognized her easily.

This Kuala Lumpur girl has already put her name in many advertisements. Among others are, Maggie, Maxis and Rexona. Not only that, she has already starred in several drama, such as ‘Gergasi’ and ‘Fobia’. Furthermore, this small beauty is trying her best to spread out her career through hosting in X-Frest TV and Whoa.

Latest info that we got is that Lisa Suriani was selected to be a heroine in a new film called ‘I’m Not Single’. The film is the second film directed by Pierre Andre and the 25th MIG Production’s product.

“I know I’m still new, and I couldn’t even believe to get the main character. I just went to the audition once. I am thankful to Allah because I got it,” she told the press when met during the launch of the film in Kajang, Selangor.

Denying her face as the main reason of her success in the industry, Lisa says: “Yes, face is one of the factor, however, it is useless if there is no talent? Maybe many people out there that questioned why I was selected. It goes without saying that I’m new in the world, but I have also starred in several dramas. I have some experience, even though it’s just a small piece. Give me a chance to lighten up the filming industry.”

Even though she’s so excited in acting, as a law student in Kolej Universiti Help, her priority is set for her education.

“I don’t accept invitation that easily. I have to discuss with my father and mother and ask for their permission first. Then I must make sure that the shooting will not effect my studies and classes. Education is important too,” said the fourth in 5 siblings, Lisa Suriani.

I’m Not Single will be starred by Lisa Suriani, Farid Kamil, Intan Ladyana and Awal Ashaari.
