‘Haru Biru’ is currently shown on cinemas nationwide, it is known that the producer, Raja Azmi is pleased with viewer’s reaction to the movie. According to Raja Azmi, ‘Haru Biru’ has got a ticket collection of RM400,000 on the first six days of shows.

“My budget was small. RM600,000 only,” said Raja Azmi.

We are pretty sure that Raja Azmi will be more active in making more movies after this.

“Yes, I’m getting serius to make new movies. Previously I’ve made movie just for fame, but now I want to help the film industry,” said Raja Azmi.

That’s why from now on Raja Azmi would apply for other people to fund future films.

“If we talk about cost, I would like to make a film with the real techniques. ‘Haru Biru’ was filmed with a HD (High-Definition) camera, which is not suitable to be changed into film.”

“Thankfully that Finas has bought a kiney transfer machine (to change multiple film formats), so I could change ‘Haru Biru’ into a proper film. No doubt that the quality will be lower than normal, but it would be sufficient for a low budget that I have. Furthermore, ‘Haru Biru’ is more likely a test run film for me.”

“Next time if I’m filming a movie, I would use a normal Arriflex 35mm, just like other producers,” Raja Azmi said.

It’s quite sad to hear what Raja Azmi said, however, Raja Azmi has gone through many difficulties in making three ‘unsuccessful’ films before, however her dreams couldn’t be put out so easily. Yesterday, Raja Azmi joined Festival Filem Malaysia in Pulau Pinang even though ‘Haru Biru’ is not nominated in any category.
