Rush Hour 3 Banned In China

Author: teropong | August 13, 2007 - 12:19 pm

rush-hour-chris-tucker-jackie-chanNew action-comedy Rush Hour 3 has been banned in China, after authorities were enangered by a scene depicting Chinese triad members visiting Paris.

However, the official reason given was that Rush Hour 3 will not do well commercially in China, despite the fact that the first two instalments being box-office hits there.

Under strict Chinese government screening rules, only 20 foreign releases a year are allowed in China and many that make it through are heavily censored.
