Leah Dizon Learns Guitar from Marty Friedman
Jpop star Leah Dizon (リア・ディゾン) and former Megadeth heavy metal guitarist Marty Friedman have several things in common.
They are both gaijin living in Japan, both are involved in the music industry and they both love listening to Taiwanese R&B star Jay Chou (周杰倫).
In a recent Japanese TV segment, the producers got them both together for Marty Friedman to teach the lovely Miss Leah Dizon how to play the guitar.
Leah Dizon is continuing her pop career in Japan and does learning from the Marty Friedman means we will hear a more heavy rock sound coming from her?
Marty Friedman has been living in Japan for many years and speaks fluent Japanese and has done some diverse work including the music for Death Panda and music documentaries for NHK.
