Sarah Geronimo Latest CD Features Duet with Backstreet Boys’ Howie D
The first half of the year is hardly over.
Yet Sarah Geronimo has earned a harvest of achievements not just for herself, but for the country as well.
The Popstar Princess, fresh from a highly-successful concert tours in the US and Canada, stayed behind in Los Angeles to do the vocals for a duet with Backstreet Boy Howie Dorough.
The duet, titled “I’ll Be There” and produced by Christian de Walden, will be part of Sarah’s latest CD to be released in July her birth month.
Sarah Geronimo recently swept the MYX Music Awards, where she won four trophies, the most by any nominee this year: Favorite Song for “Ikaw,” Favorite Artist, Favorite Female Artist and Favorite MYX Celebrity VJ.
Sarah Geronimo’s other awards this year are People of the Year from Apple Asia Magazine, Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Award, PLDT Plaque of Recognition, Ang Pinaka Sikat na Female Singer from Q-11’s “Ang Pinaka,” Best Variety Program for Little Big Star at the 20th KBP Golden Dove Awards, Female Artist Awardee (for the album “Taking Flight”), First ASAP 24K Awards and Compilation Awardee (Hotsilog), Third ASAP Platinum Circle Awards.
Sarah, with fellow champions Rachelle Ann Go, Christian Bautista and Eric Santos, recently performed in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnepeg, Toronto and Montreal in Canada and in San Jose, Houston and Anaheim in the US.
Sarah is also a much sought-after product endorser with such name brands as Jollibee, Cebuana Lhuiller, HerBench, AMA University, Charmee, Islander Footwear, E-aji Dip Snacks Potato Chips, Hapee Toothpaste Gel, Extreme Magic Sing Videoke Microphone, Belo Medical Group, Magnolia Health Tea among others.
