SuriaFM Kemuncak Rancak Road Tour
PETALING JAYA: The place to be tonight is the SuriaFM’s Kemuncak Rancak Roadtour concert!
Kicking off at 8pm, the free four-hour open-air concert at Dataran Merdeka features an all-star cast, which includes M. Nasir, Erra Fazira, Amy Search, Dafi, Mawi and Dayang Nurfaizah.
The radio station’s chief operating officer Engku Emran Engku Zainal Abidin said: “There is something for everyone at the concert.
“Tonight’s showcase will be one to remember.”
SuriaFM’s Kemuncak Rancak Roadtour marks the official launch of the first lifestyle radio station in the country.
SuriaFM, since its inception in Dec 2005, recently passed its infancy stage as nationwide expansion plans were carried out.
Engku Emran said although the radio industry was very competitive, he believed there was still room for another Malay station.
“We are different from other stations and will always be.
“SuriaFM will continue to deliver new things to its listeners,” he said.
Engku Emran added that the station’s future plan was to strengthen its position in the market.
The station that has about 500,000 listeners can now be accessed in every state except Sarawak.
Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Zulhasnan Rafique will launch tonight’s concert.
