Gillian Chung official statement on sex photos scandal

The Twins fan event started at 1pm as they had a fan gathering with 100 over fans playing all sorts of games and having fun.

The press conference started at 2.15pm and Gillian is now reading her statement and was reportedly wearing a smiling face as she took to the stage to read her statement.

The scene was pretty chaotic with more than 100 media personnel trying to get the best spot.

With her innocent Twins band mate Charlene Choi ( Ah Sa ) sitting by her side, Gillian read her statement which lasted just one minute.

Looks like the Edison Chen’s sex scandal has caused his new Manhattan Titanium advertisement to be cancelled. This could be a costly secret affair for him.

Edison Chen (陳冠希) has had his advertisements for Manhattan Titanium, a credit card company, pulled, as a result of the ongoing sex photos scandal, Sing Tao Daily, a Hong Kong newspaper, reported today.

The advertising campaign was launched last month. This is the latest blow for the Hong Kong star, after being cut from an upcoming movie last Tuesday. Columbia Pictures announced that its film Jump <跳出去>, a joint production with Stephen Chow (周星馳)’s company Star Overseas, which was due for release 1 May, had been put back until 1 October.

The Hong Kong-made film was to star Edison alongside Kitty Zhang (張雨綺).

Sing Tao Daily estimated that the scandal could cost Edison, who was seen as one of the coolest entertainers in Hong Kong showbiz, HK$10m a year in work and endorsements.

Gillian Chung, who is involved in the recent celebrity sex scandal, has never made a public appearance since the incident started.

Later distributed over the Internet, a newspaper reported on Monday.

The photographs, seemingly of actor and singer Edison Chen in bed with singer Gillian Chung, along with suggestive images of actress Cecilia Cheung, were recently posted online.

It sparks a media frenzy in the celebrity-mad former British colony.

While Gillian Chung’s company, Emperor Entertainment Group, initially said the photograph of the normally squeaky-clean star was a digital fake, recent media reports have suggested otherwise.
