KAT-TUN’s Akanishi Jin has landed his first sole lead in a television drama. He will appear in NTV’s “Yukan Club” (often translated as “The Leisure Club”).

The programme is adapted from Yukari Ichijo’s popular manga of the same name.

The story is a comedy revolving around six popular high school students. Akanishi plays Miroku Shochikubai, the son of the police commissioner.

The show will air on Tuesdays at 10:00pm, starting on October 16.
