Okubo Mariko Graduates from Gravure, Ventures Acting

23-year-old idol Okubo Mariko has “graduated” from the gravure world.
According to Okubo Mariko, her latest DVD and photobook are her last, as she has decided to focus on building a career as an actress.
This past January, Okubo Mariko took the first steps in starting anew when she moved to a different management agency.
Okubo Mariko also changed the way her first name is written.
People will be seeing Okubo Mariko more in drama rather than DVD from now on.
Wonder what drama will Okubo Mariko play as her first appearance (debut).
