Shiratori Yuriko is a 24 year old Japanese gravure idol and actress from Sendai in Miyagi Prefecture. Yuriko was scouted to be a model during her high school days and appeared in some local Sendai magazines.

After high school, she attended a vocational acting training course and moved to Tokyo in 2005 with the intent on becoming a star and started a blog about her journey.

She worked a few odd jobs including in a supermarket while she attended modeling auditions and in 2006 she won the A-TEAM crystal pure audition A-TEAM and signed with the A-Team agency.

She quickly became a gravure idol and released her first DVD Sukidayo Shiratori.

She made her nationwide TV debut as the heroine Hana on the Kamen Rider Den-O series earlier this year and she’s made quite an impression on the show with her punches, known as Hana punches and kicks known as Hana kicks.

This year has been very busy for Yuriko with several TV commercials, as co-host of music show mashup! Sound king MUSIO, movie appearances, theater shows and magazine photo shoots including ViVi, Anan, CanCam and Fashion Walker.

She also released several 2 new DVDs this year, Like a Flower and Cygnet Heroine.
